Why do you not treat people who have inhaled powdered drugs before?

Powdered drugs can be caustic and inflammatory to the nasal tissue and can cause permanent blood-vessel fragility, perforations, erosions and other structural defects or deformities in the nasal passages that could worsen when exposed to medicated nasal spray. Because the risk of side effects is considerably higher in this setting, an in-person examination by an ENT specialist is important before starting any nasal spray treatment. Because Allermi's medical evaluations are conducted online and we cannot examine the nasal passages in-person with a nasal scope, we do not offer our services to patients with a history of having used nasally-inhaled substances.
