Please make sure you're doing the following every time when using your Allermi kit:
STEP 1: SALINITY SPRAY
- With your head in the nose-to-toes, chin-to-chest position, insert the Salinity Spray nozzle into your nose as deep as comfortable.
- Press down on the button for .5-1 second and sniff up gently, bringing the saline up into your nose.
- Repeat the above a few more times.
- Then repeat on the other side.
- Gently blow your nose into a tissue.
*If your nose is very dry or you have a lot of excess mucus or post-nasal drip, you can use Salinity Spray to really rinse your nasal passages, by holding down on the button for longer periods of time. If you do this, do it over the sink or in the shower.
STEP 2: SUPER SPRAY
- Shake your Super Spray bottle well!
- While seated on the edge of your bed or chair, lean forward and look down straight towards your toes in the nose-to-toes, chin-to-chest position.
- Insert the nozzle as deep as comfortable, ideally about 1/2 an inch into the nose, straight up into the nose.
- Press the opposite nostril closed.
- Pump your nasal spray with a short, firm pump and sniff up once.
- Immediately begin 15 seconds of short, rapid "bunny" sniffs after each spray, keeping your head in the nose-to-toes position.
- Repeat for the other side.
- Don't lift your head up until you're fully done with your treatment on both sides!
