We do not believe that the ingredients in Allermi at the dosages prescribed are unsafe to use in pregnancy or while nursing, and very little medication, if any, is systemically absorbed.
However, because these ingredients have not been well-studied in or FDA-approved for the pregnant or nursing population, we err on the side of caution and are not treating pregnant or nursing moms at this time.
